Here are some details about the songs on our EP, 'One': The rocky 'Bringing It Down' highlights the dangers of being over critical and negative about ideals, people or beliefs. That motivation and encouragement enables us to gain the confidence and self belief in what we do and that if it 'isn't broken - why fix it?!' The Smiths/Aztec Camera/Bible style 'Sing' is about counting our blessings and trying to search for happiness whatever life throws at us. The title track, the Motown style 'One', is about Pete and Joe's shared experiences which have inspired their song writing and their musical collaboration as Cobbro. It also has a wider message of everyone working for harmony and peace. This song features Paul Knowles on saxes, Hannah Cobb and John Hickey on backing vocals. All other voices and instrumentation on the EP is purely down to Cobbro!
